We are seeking a skilled Strategic Governance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving organisational excellence through governance policies and processes.

About the Role

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to organisational standards while fostering continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of product development lifecycle (PDLC) governance principles and best practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identify, develop, and implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and governance processes across the organisation.
  • Policy and Process Development: Create, document, and maintain organisation-level policies and processes to ensure consistency, compliance, and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Metrics Management: Collect, analyse, and publish organisation-level metrics to provide insights into performance, compliance, and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance and Standards Adherence: Ensure adherence to TCF and TOM standards, maintaining a robust governance framework that aligns with organisational goals.
  • Internal Audit Support: Assist in conducting internal audits, providing necessary documentation, insights, and recommendations to ensure compliance and process integrity.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align governance practices with business objectives and product lifecycle requirements.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify risks in governance processes and implement controls to mitigate them.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in governance, process improvement, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated experience in product lifecycle governance and process development.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, or similar).
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
