Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant with 3-5 years of accounting experience to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience as an accountant in private accounting, providing day-to-day accounting operations such as processing cash receipts and maintaining A/R subledger, processing cash disbursements and maintaining A/P subledger, payroll processing through payroll provider and accounting software, and maintaining the general ledger.
- Cash, Credit Card, and Asset Liability Reconciliation: Prepare cash, credit card, and other asset and liability account reconciliations, and maintain support worksheets for each for month end and year end.
- Ongoing Tasks: Provide other tasks as assigned by supervisor to be completed under guidance of supervisor.
To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in accounting or related field, or similar training or on-the-job experience. Additionally, you must have at least 3 years of experience in the job offered or as an accountant in private accounting, excellent communication and organizational skills, experience with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Microsoft GP, Sage Intacct, etc., ability to work independently on tasks with some supervision, and ability to manage multiple engagements, and competing priorities.
