About the Role

We are seeking an experienced individual to join our advisory committee. As a valued member, you will contribute to shaping our policies and procedures to promote continually improving inclusion and safeguarding.

You will work remotely and have the flexibility to choose your location. This role is perfect for someone who wants to make a difference in the mental health sector while working independently.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert input into our policies and procedures;
  • Attending advisory committee meetings and actively participating;
  • Bolstering and enhancing our resource centre;
  • Creating engaging content to help others learn about mental health issues and effective management strategies.

To succeed in this role, you will need relevant experience, particularly in understanding resource availability, participating in management meetings, and constructively posting on social media.

Requirements

We are looking for an expert in one of the most common mental health issues, either as a qualified clinician or through lived experience. You must possess the necessary skills and experience to perform this role effectively, with similar experience gained elsewhere being essential.

Additionally, you should understand the importance of staying within your area of expertise and acting constructively when collaborating with colleagues and corresponding with members.
