Job Title: Senior IT Infrastructure Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the development and implementation of automation solutions that streamline IT operations.

\

This critical role involves designing, developing, and implementing automation workflows for routine IT operations across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

\

The successful candidate will lead initiatives that reduce manual effort, increase consistency, and support critical infrastructure systems while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • Design and implement automation workflows for routine IT operations across Windows and Linux environments.
  • Develop custom automation tools using Python, PowerShell, and Bash to support various infrastructure needs.
  • Automate provisioning, scaling, and monitoring for VMware and Nutanix environments.
  • Implement automated LogicMonitor solutions for proactive issue detection.
  • Build automation scripts for Commvault to manage backup and recovery, including reporting.
  • Use REST APIs to integrate third-party platforms and leverage Ansible for configuration management across Windows and Linux.
  • Automate endpoint patching, software deployment, and asset tracking using tools like BigFix, JAMF, and Active Directory.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 6+ years in an automation-focused or infrastructure engineering role.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
