Automation Expert - Data Center Operations Specialist">

Are you an automation expert looking for a challenging role in data center operations? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team as a Data Center Automation Specialist.

In this role, you will design and implement automation solutions for data center operations, collaborating with IT and operations teams to identify opportunities for improvement. You will also develop and maintain scripts in languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash to automate routine tasks, using infrastructure and software deployment tools like Terraform.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VMWare and HyperV, as well as proficiency in automation tools and cloud platforms. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and collaboration abilities are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automation solutions for data center operations
  • Develop and maintain scripts in languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
  • Collaborate with IT and operations teams to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Use infrastructure and software deployment tools like Terraform
  • Monitor performance and availability of data center systems and implement improvements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven experience in data center operations and automation (3+ years preferred)
  • Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNA)
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
