Healthcare Engineering Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our healthcare claims processing engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership: Design and architect scalable healthcare claims processing systems handling millions of transactions. Collaborate with architects on system integration patterns and data flow optimization.
  • People Management: Build, lead, and mentor a team of software engineers across multiple product areas. Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and technical excellence.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Data, and Operations teams on feature planning and delivery. Communicate technical concepts and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of software engineering experience with 1+ years in engineering management. Strong system design experience with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
  • Hand-on coding experience.
  • Experience with real-time processing systems and high-volume transaction processing.
  • Track record of successful large-scale system migrations or platform modernizations.
  • Proven track record of scaling engineering teams and managing technical talent.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), databases, and modern engineering practices.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and continuous integration/deployment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR).
  • Knowledge of healthcare claims workflows and adjudication processes.
  • Experience with healthcare systems, claims processing, or similar regulated industries preferred.
