Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of tools, appliances, and equipment.

You will work closely with other departments to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Your ability to problem-solve and think critically will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment.
  • Calibrate controls, gauges, meters, and other equipment.
  • Identify and locate shut-off valves and operate them as needed.
  • Order and stock parts and supplies as required.
  • Maintain inventory and purchase orders log.
  • Inspect tools, equipment, or machines for damage or wear.
  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers.
  • Operate power lifts and move heavy objects.
  • Complete life safety checklists, including fire-pump run tests and generator run tests.
  • Inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
  • Assist in developing disaster response protocols.
  • Respond to guest repair requests and provide excellent customer service.
  • Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and complete safety training and certifications.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Welcome guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support teams to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, identify and recommend ways to increase efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost savings.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with others.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Technical, trade, or vocational school degree.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • No specific licenses or certifications are required.
