About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer Manager who will be responsible for leading our development team. The successful candidate must have experience with Java Development, Agile methodologies, and have strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • The ideal candidate should have prior experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
  • Experience in cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure would be highly valued.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and ability to implement best practices.
  • Able to work collaboratively with other teams such as Product, Design, and QA.
  • Develops and implements processes to improve efficiency and productivity within the team.
  • Acts as a mentor to junior engineers and provides guidance on technical matters.
  • Fosters a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.
  • Manages day-to-day operations of the team including task assignments, resource allocation, and conflict resolution.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development management.
  • Strong background in Java development and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
