Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Engineer

High-traffic production systems are your bread and butter. As a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer, you'll spearhead the development of service level agreements, collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide top-notch services throughout the entire lifecycle, and ensure system performance is always at its best.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs for business unit services using data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, project managers, team leads, security, and QA teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Design automated processes using technologies like Ansible, Chef, etc., to streamline routine operations and improve overall efficiency.
  • Stay on top of new technologies, tools, and best practices to continually improve system reliability.
  • Own services, respond promptly to production issues, and work closely with distributed teams to achieve common goals.
Requirements:
  • Must-have experience in handling complex production systems independently, troubleshooting middleware and infrastructure, automation, regular operation, etc.
  • A proven track record in managing large-scale services, designing public cloud architectures, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Hands-on expertise in CI/CD pipelines, version control systems like GIT, SVN, Jenkins, Bamboo, Linux commands, Unix, Linux, Shell, Python scripting, and configuration management using Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, etc.
  • Extensive experience in developing and operating Kubernetes, Nginx, ELK stack, Hadoop, and other critical systems.
  • Bonus points for familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, NoSQL databases, Couchbase, Cassandra.
