Job Summary:

Affordable housing development finance professional required to work on structuring funding applications and preparing support documentation.

​

The role involves working remotely as part of a team and being expected to have excellent communication skills in English.

​

Key Responsibilities:

  • Funding Application Preparation: Prepare MS Excel based funding applications for affordable housing deals, utilizing Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Tax-Exempt Bonds, State, County, City funding sources.
  • Support Documentation: Prepare support documentation for the funding applications.
  • Tracking and Monitoring: Monitor and track documents and checklists related to the funding applications.
  • New Funding Opportunities: Research new funding opportunities and expansion possibilities.
  • Development Finance Process: Assist with other aspects of the development finance process, including predevelopment and construction closing, conversion and compliance.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Business, Construction Management, or relevant field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Real Estate, Underwriting, Financial Modelling, or Financial Research.
  • Background: Background in Financial Analysis, Project/Infrastructure finance, Credit Analysis, Valuation, Balance Sheet Analysis is preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe PDF.
