Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage the merchandising process from order inquiry to final shipment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Act as the key point of contact between buyers and internal teams.
  • Understand buyer requirements, develop samples, and ensure timely approvals.
  • Prepare and manage timelines for each order.
  • Follow up on raw material sourcing, production schedules, and quality parameters.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of trims and fabrics.
  • Monitor order status, production progress, and delivery timelines to avoid delays.
  • Prepare costing sheets and negotiate prices with buyers and suppliers.
  • Manage buyer communications regarding order updates, changes, and queries.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on trends, pricing, and buyer expectations.
  • Maintain all merchandising records, reports, and documentation accurately.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and buyer compliance requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), and familiarity with ERP/MIS systems.
  • Knowledge of fabric types, trims, washes, and garment construction.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
