Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliable Systems Specialist to join our team at a world leader in payments and technology. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of our systems and applications.

We process over 259 billion transactions annually across more than 200 countries and territories, making us one of the most innovative and secure payments networks in the world. As a Reliable Systems Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our environments are secure and safe. This includes remediating all security findings within the required resolution date defined by governance, minimizing downtime, and performing root cause analysis within hours.

You will also be responsible for deploying new code in production environments, analyzing our environment regularly, automating manual tasks, and increasing self-healing capabilities. Additionally, you will work with product developers to plan and execute migrations to new technologies, ensure that every activity is recorded as per incident or change management processes, and prepare technical run books for the team.

In this hybrid position, you can expect to work in shifts, synchronize with multiple locations, and collaborate with multiple teams. We value teamwork, problem-solving, and effective prioritization, so strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Requirements include 8 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, or 0 years of work experience with a PhD. Preferred qualifications include an Engineering degree in IT or Computer Science, expertise in DevOps, build and release engineering, cloud infrastructure and automation, and good written and communication skills.

Core skills include Docker, DevOps, Linux, Ansible, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Java-based web applications, CI/CD technologies, Shell scripting, Bash, JavaScript, Python, and experience with virtualization and containers.
