Role Overview

The IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing IT infrastructure, supporting employees with hardware/software needs, and maintaining secure access to company systems. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with colleagues.

You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth IT operations for a fast-growing, globally distributed startup.

Key Responsibilities
  • IT Support & Troubleshooting: Provide remote support for employees' hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Systems Administration: Manage user accounts and permissions across tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Jira, Zoom, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Network & Security Management: Implement IT security best practices to protect sensitive data.
  • Process Improvement & Global Collaboration: Suggest and implement improvements in IT processes and workflows.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of IT support, systems administration, or similar experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with VPNs, firewalls, endpoint protection, and security best practices.
