Lead Enterprise Technologist

About the Role:

The organization is looking for a seasoned Lead Enterprise Technologist to provide strategic technology leadership and direction for large-scale digital transformation initiatives. This individual will be responsible for creating and implementing end-to-end solution architectures, leading cross-functional teams, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight on solution design and implementation
  • Collaborate with project management and IT development teams to improve the architecture
  • Conduct system architecture evaluations and assessments
  • Deliver enterprise architecture blueprints and advise on setup associated artifact hierarchy and ownership
  • Establish architecture and design governance including standards, best practices, guidelines and compliance processes
  • Strategic planning including balancing short and long-term objectives with organizational goals and constraints

Requirements:

  • 20+ years' experience in IT industry, with at least 10 years in leadership roles involving enterprise architecture, solution design and engineering
  • Demonstrated ability in leading E2E architecture for large-scale, multi-year, multi-vendor digital transformation programs
  • Excellent understanding of software engineering concepts, SDLC processes, non-functional design, sizing and capacity planning
  • Experience in dealing with partners, tool and technology vendors as required for new solution rollout or troubleshooting issues
  • Familiarity with concepts such as DevSecOps, Test Automation, Configuration Management, SRE, AIOps and Value Stream Management
  • Knowledgeable about business and technology trends including use of Data and Analytics, Automation and AI in IT and Business transformation
  • Good understanding of open source and COTS licensing models
  • Familiarity with project financials including concepts around TCO, ROI, revenue recognition and cost control measures
