- The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing projects within given timelines, budgets, and quality standards to achieve successful product launches.
- Key responsibilities include preparing cost proposals, negotiating with suppliers, and finalizing purchase orders for category parts within budget targets to enhance profitability.
- The successful candidate will also develop and implement cost reduction initiatives for new parts to boost profitability.
- Additionally, this role involves tracking feasibility reports, resolving technical issues between suppliers and customers, and providing feedback to project leaders.
- Project-level MIS preparation and identifying value-added/elimination ideas are also key aspects of this role.
- Model material BOM creation, comparison with engineering BOMs, and stakeholder alignment are crucial tasks.
- Candidate will be responsible for coordination and tracking of SPD/GPC part cost approval, ensuring smooth transition of models from sales to production.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/BTech).
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or related fields.
- Tech skills: knowledge of supplier base, upcoming tech trends, part development process, project management, costing, negotiation skills.
- Behavioral skills: communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving skills.
