Job Overview:

This role involves leading a team of revenue accountants to ensure timely and accurate recording of revenue in accordance with US GAAP and industry standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the month-end close process, reviewing financial statements and ensuring appropriate revenue recognition treatment
  • Lead and mentor a team of accountants to foster a collaborative culture and champion continuous improvement
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls for revenue recognition and related balance sheet accounts
  • Participate in audits, supporting preparation and analysis of revenue data for management and stakeholders
  • Oversee daily accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and petty cash management
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports and monitor cash and sales transactions across all channels
  • Establish sound financial policies in line with business operations while safeguarding regulatory requirements

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; CPA or CA preferred
  • 6+ years of relevant experience and in-depth knowledge of revenue recognition based on ASC 606 (US GAAP) in a SOX compliant environment
  • Proven experience in contract reviews, invoicing, and collections strategies
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate with internal and external partners
  • Attention to detail, highly organized, strong management skills, and willingness to dive into processes and systems
