Network Architectural Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Network Architectural Specialist to join our team at Orange Business International.
This is a regular contract position, with the salary range expected to be around $120,000 per year, based on market standards for similar positions in the same location.
About the Role- Critical & Major Incident management: Analyze and resolve complex network incidents within agreed SLAs;
- Change & Operation Project Management: Design and implement network changes while ensuring minimal disruption to services;
- Patch & Release Management: Coordinate and deploy software patches and releases across the network infrastructure;
- Capacity Management: Monitor and optimize network capacity to ensure high availability and performance;
- Knowledge management (KEDB): Document and share knowledge of network technologies, configurations, and best practices;
- Documentation, MIS and Reporting: Develop and maintain accurate documentation, reports, and metrics related to network performance and security;
- Getting resolution from Third parties, Vendors and suppliers for fault: Collaborate with external partners to resolve faults and improve overall service delivery;
- Effective handling of Technical Escalations: Investigate and resolve technical issues escalated by internal teams or customers;
- Ensure Service Delivery as per agreed SOW / SLA: Oversee the delivery of network services according to contracted Service Level Agreements;
- Provide support to L3 for RFO/ RCA (Root cause analysis) and Preventive maintenance, Participate in assess Risk and Impact.: Assist senior engineers in performing root cause analyses and preventive maintenance activities, contributing to risk assessment and mitigation;
- Take initiatives in learning, certifications & evaluating new Networking Technology & Tools: Stay up-to-date with emerging network technologies, pursue relevant certifications, and evaluate new tools to enhance skillset;
- Driving Technical Knowledge Transfers & awareness session on best practices within team by proper training session. Mentor & Hand hold L1, JE Teams.: Lead knowledge-sharing sessions, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members to promote continuous learning and improvement;
We seek a highly experienced professional with expertise in implementing routing, switching, and data center solutions, primarily on Cisco platforms.
Key qualifications include:
- Rich hands-on experience with Cisco routing, switching, and DC solutions;
- Major expertise in wireless implementation and run support;
- Understanding of heat maps, tools, NMS, CLOUD base WLC, etc.;
- Good understanding and hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, VRRP, etc.;
- Hands-on experience with CISCO switching like 25xx, 29xx, 38xx, 54xx, 83xx and 84xx. AP like 340/300/207/2xx/3xx and controllers like 72xx;
- Good understanding and hands-on experience with STP, RSTP, VLANs, VPC, link-aggregation, etc.;
- Excellent NOC Troubleshooting, analyzing & managing critical Incidents, Problem tickets with out-of-the-box thought processes;
- Experience in designing POA for complex Change/Project;
- Good knowledge in preparing RFO, RCA's, documentation, Knowledge Bank;
- CCNA or CCNP Enterprise certified, preferably with CCNP Enterprise Wireless certification covering small/medium deployments;
- CCT Data Center, CyberOps Associate certification - an added advantage;
