Job Title: Business Manager Full Time Temporary

The company is seeking an experienced Business Manager to join their team. This individual will be responsible for defining metrics and monitoring supplier performance against these expectations to ensure continuous supplier improvement.

This role involves evaluating the quality, setting performance benchmarks, and assessing the risks associated with preferred supply base selection. The ideal candidate will work continuously on process improvement to deploy and develop best-known methods related to procurement, inventory control, and early supplier involvement in highly technical and/or contractually complex new product parts design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate the quality of suppliers and set performance benchmarks
  • Monitor supplier performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Assess the risks associated with preferred supply base selection
  • Develop and implement process improvements to optimize procurement, inventory control, and early supplier involvement
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering
  • ~3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, managing global suppliers on direct and indirect materials and services
  • Experience in development, management, and improvement of supplier performance metrics such as OTD, Consignment, and Leadtime
  • Creative thinking and strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Solid analytical skills and interpersonal skills
  • Solid written and oral communication skills in English
  • Good skills in MS Office and ERP familiarity (SAP experience a plus)
