Orthopedic Product Development Manager

Job Summary:

Zifcare is seeking an experienced Orthopedic Product Development Manager to lead efforts in researching the market, identifying product gaps, and developing or redesigning products to address unmet needs in the orthopedic space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify gaps in the orthopedic and pain management product categories.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to propose new or redesigned products.
  • Work closely with the business development team to assess demand for potential products in the B2B healthcare sector.
  • Identify and source manufacturers and suppliers from low-cost regions, such as China, Vietnam, or other cost-effective destinations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms, pricing, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with market needs and work closely with the medical team to verify the efficacy of new products.
  • Develop and execute the GTM strategy for launching new orthopedic products in the offline market, including pricing, distribution, and promotion strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Product Management, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • 8-12 years of experience in product development or management, ideally in the healthcare, medical device, or orthopedic industry.
  • Proven track record in conducting market research and identifying product gaps within the medical or healthcare markets.
  • Experience working with suppliers and manufacturers, especially in low-cost destinations.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the orthopedic and medical device industries.
