As a seasoned valuation professional, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial insights to our stakeholders. Your expertise in investment analysis and product knowledge will enable you to effectively communicate the complexities of our alternative funds portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product and Investment Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our client's BREDS business funds and investments, including market trends and opportunities.
  • Portfolio Insights: Source, summarize, and disseminate real-time information across the global portfolio, working closely with other BREDS colleagues and teams (Asset Management, Securities Ops, Revantage, Brio).
  • Valuation Reporting: Prepare and present ad hoc requests, strategy support, and quarterly reporting of operating and valuation data for assets in the alternative funds portfolio to stakeholders.
  • Investor Reporting: Populate and update investor and insurance SMA reports on a periodic basis, assisting stakeholders in producing publishing material and supplementals.
  • Special Projects: Participate in and execute global ad hoc projects related to portfolio information, insurance client governance, and strategy/positioning of the BREDS business.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Finance from a reputable university.
  • Understanding of Real Estate/Private Equity business.
  • Exceptional quantitative aptitude and skill set, with mastery of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
  • Previous background in asset management or portfolio management preferred.
  • Knowledge of advanced Excel is essential.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with a proactive approach.
  • Acute focus on attention to detail, accuracy, and data validation.
  • Effective communication skills (listening, verbal, and written).
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Sound judgment and discretion.
  • Ability to contribute to a good and healthy work environment, CFA/CAIA designation a plus.
