About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive
Senior Valuation Associate
to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong valuation expertise and a passion for innovation in financial technology. You will play a key role in supporting product development, leading valuation projects, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define and implement valuation logic in our product.
  • Lead the preparation and review of portfolio valuations, equity waterfalls, and financial models.
  • Participate in client interactions, demos, and proof-of-concept assignments with support from senior leadership.
  • Evaluate and enhance data sources used for valuation and monitoring, ensuring quality and relevance.
  • Lead & support platform features for testing and validation efforts, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Mentor junior associates and contribute to internal training on valuation methodologies and financial concepts.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, valuation standards, and private capital metrics.

Qualifications

  • Graduate or post-graduate degree in Finance, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CFA (Level 2 or above), or MBA preferred.
  • 4–6 years of experience in valuation, preferably at a Big 4 or top-tier financial advisory firm.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies, cap tables, and allocation waterfalls.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Exposure to private equity and venture capital metrics.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
