Valuation Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Valuation Analyst to join our team. As a Valuation Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting valuations of businesses, business interests, and intangible assets for financial reporting purposes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial valuation theory and methodologies, as well as experience in traditional valuation methods and high-level decision-making models.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct valuations of businesses, business interests, and intangible assets for financial reporting purposes.
  • Analyze historical financial results of target companies to explain business trends and identify risks.
  • Evaluate assumptions related to future financial projections.
  • Develop discount rates and conduct financial statement analysis.
  • Perform market research and develop industry growth estimates.
  • Construct and review valuation models.
  • Assist in the preparation of valuation reports and client deliverables.
  • Presents analyses and conclusions to internal stakeholders and clients.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in fair value, purchase price allocation, and goodwill impairments.
  • Fundamental understanding of financial valuation theory and methodologies.
  • Experience in traditional valuation methods and high-level decision-making models.
  • Comprehensive experience with financial databases and tools.
  • Track record of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated technical skills in financial modeling and analysis.
