Job Opportunity:

Senior Associate – Trade Processing Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our Corporate Actions team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing Corporate Actions across global positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Corporate Actions Scrubbing & Setup: You will scrub and set up Corporate Actions in operating systems, ensuring efficient processing and minimizing operational risks.
  • Monitoring & Identification: You will monitor Corporate Actions across reliefs and identify eligible global positions, providing timely notifications and accurate bookings.
  • Election Process Management: You will manage election processes for voluntary events, compile aggregated instructions, and ensure proper receipt by custodians/agents.
  • Corporate Action Types: You will handle all Corporate Action types within your scope, adhering to compliance rules and mitigating operational/reputational risks.

Requirements:

  • Compliance Expertise: You must have a strong understanding of compliance rules and regulations.
  • Operational Risk Mitigation: You must be able to identify and escalate operational risks promptly.
  • Custodian Relationships: You must maintain strong relationships with domestic agents, custodians, and other internal departments.
  • Communication Skills: You must be able to provide regular reporting to hierarchy and contribute proactively in meetings.
