Key Responsibilities include:
- Leading/Managing an Analog IC design team with product ownership and responsibility from definition to release to manufacturing.
- DIRECTING activities of a research or technical design function responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components, integrated circuits for a variety of applications.
- Making assignments for team members, making architectural decisions/process selection etc, providing design guidance as needed, developing schedules and monitoring progress throughout the project.
- Evaluating intermediate and final results of projects during the design phase and during silicon evaluation, to ensure accomplishment of technical objectives.
- Working with and providing guidance to layout engineers and monitors the progress of IC layout.
- Collaborating with Design Verification teams during the pre-PG phase of a project to ensure completion of all technical tasks before PG.
- Working with systems engineers, application engineers and marketing to prepare product briefs, datasheets, application notes and assisting in the definition of the product to meet customer needs as well as contributing to roadmap formulation and new concept creation.
- Collaborating with validation, product engineering and test engineering teams to enable successful product releases.
Required Skills and Qualifications include:
- Leading high-performance teams.
- Analog IC design.
- Product development.
- Team management.
- Project planning and execution.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive complex projects forward while ensuring timely delivery. They will have a strong background in Analog IC design, with experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels. Additionally, they will be able to evaluate and prioritize multiple tasks and projects, working effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
