Master Data Governance SpecialistSr. SAP MDG Consultant - Job Description

This position is responsible for developing and executing data governance strategies and roadmaps to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of master data across the organization.

The successful candidate will lead and oversee the implementation and enhancement of SAP MDG solutions, including data modeling, data stewardship, and workflow management.

They will design and enforce data governance policies, procedures, and standards to maintain data quality and consistency.

A strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors, is essential to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.

The specialist will manage the integration of SAP MDG with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP) and third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency.

Implementation and management of data quality checks, validations, and cleansing processes are also crucial to ensure high standards of data accuracy and reliability.

Facilitating change management processes, including training and support for end-users, is vital to ensure effective adoption of MDG solutions.

Opportunities for process improvements and automation in master data management practices should be identified and enhancements to existing systems and processes recommended.

Advanced support for troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to SAP MDG and master data management is required.
