**Migration Lead for Microsoft Fabric Project**

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead the migration project into Microsoft Fabric on a short-term basis. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of data engineering principles and strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Airflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Migrate pipelines from Azure Synapse/SQL Server to Fabric Lakehouse, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Orchestrate workflows using Airflow & ADF, streamlining processes and enhancing productivity.
  • Design and build scalable PySpark + Delta Lake pipelines in OneLake, enabling efficient data processing and analysis.
  • Integrate Power BI and semantic models, providing actionable insights and business intelligence.
  • Implement governance, Git, and CI/CD best practices, ensuring high-quality code and rapid deployment.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on PySpark.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Airflow, with hands-on experience in related tools and technologies.
  • Familiarity with dimensional modeling and Azure security principles.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience modernizing ETL/ELT into Fabric Lakehouse, leveraging latest technologies and innovations.
  • Microsoft Azure certification (DP-203), demonstrating expertise in cloud computing and data management.
  • Strong Power BI skills, including DAX, DirectLake, and Tabular Editor, for data visualization and business intelligence.
