Data Virtualization Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated data professional to oversee the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our Denodo Platform.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the Denodo Platform and a solid understanding of its architecture, caching, and query optimization.

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver agile data solutions, connecting disparate data sources for real-time access and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Denodo Platform components
  • Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues to ensure high availability
  • Administer Denodo security policies, including access control and user management
  • Collaborate with data engineers and architects to optimize data virtualization solutions
  • Develop and maintain Denodo monitoring scripts for performance tracking
  • Troubleshoot integration issues between Denodo and data sources such as SQL databases, APIs, and cloud storage
  • Manage metadata, caching, and query optimization within the Denodo Platform
  • Provide technical support and training to business users and developers

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Denodo Platform Administrator or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Denodo Platform architecture, caching, and query optimization
  • Expertise in SQL, data virtualization, and data integration concepts
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud platforms and APIs
  • Familiarity with ETL tools, database management, and security best practices
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams
