Job Overview

At UniCards, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Regulatory Compliance Expert to join our team. As a key member of our regulatory compliance department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our financial products and services comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Estimated Salary: ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum

Job Description:

We are seeking a collaborative and enthusiastic lawyer with 3-4 years of PQE to join our team as a legal counsel. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of financial regulatory compliance and a proven track record of providing expert legal advice in this field.

Responsibilities:

- Provide expert legal advice on regulatory matters impacting the FinTech industry, with a strong emphasis on RBI and other regulations.
- Work closely with product teams to ensure product offerings comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Monitor the evolving regulatory landscape and advise the business on changes affecting business or product offerings.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize high-stakes FinTech partnership agreements and other commercial contracts for business teams.
- Advise internal business teams on a wide range of legal issues, including data privacy, intellectual property (IPR), employment law, marketing compliance, FEMA, FDI regulations, and TRAI guidelines.
- Participate in industry body discussions and committees to stay informed about regulatory and compliance changes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

PQE - 3-4 years
Qualification - Undergraduate from a reputed law school
Work experience: Law firm or in-house experience
Familiarity with the overall regulatory landscape for FinTech companies in India.
