Salary and BenefitsThe estimated total compensation package for this role includes a base salary of $120,000 per year and bonus incentives. Job DescriptionThis Senior Business Systems Analyst role is part of the GSG Servicing MIS team at American Express. The incumbent will apply data mining and advanced analytics to monitor shifts in customer behavior, collaborating closely with Servicing strategy and Transformation teams. Key responsibilities include delivering strategic analytics focused on customer interactions across servicing channels, defining and building key KPIs to track shifts in customer behavior, and enabling business user self-service through creation of MIS capabilities.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you'll need strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills to solve complex business problems and communicate effectively with senior leaders. Preferred qualifications include strong programming skills, particularly in Big Data programming languages like Hive, Spark, Python, and SQL, as well as experience with cloud concepts and Tableau or other BI tools. A minimum 2 years' experience in Quantitative Business Analysis/Data Science, handling large data sets, and a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a quantitative field are also essential.
