We are seeking an ambitious correspondent who can cover a wide range of financial stories, from Wall Street banks to unexplained stock market surges. The ideal candidate will have a track record of breaking news, building strong sources, and writing with clarity and expertise.

About the Role:

  • We require someone to work closely with our Finance and Markets teams in Bangalore, writing regularly for our Stocks Buzz service and contributing to major market reports.
  • The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively with colleagues worldwide to ensure smooth cooperation on stories. They will write straightforward stories daily and raise alarm on bigger issues that demand more resources.

About You:

  • A minimum of two years' experience as a financial journalist is required, preferably in a banking-focused role.
  • You must have excellent people and networking skills, strong written and spoken English, and a deep understanding of global financial markets and economics.
