Operations Manager Position

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee our manpower planning and shift rostering processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in facility management, vehicle coordination, and team leadership.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage manpower planning and shift rostering to meet load projections and productivity targets
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, facility 5S, and overall upkeep of facilities
  • Monitor vehicle connections and availability for timely unloading/loading
  • Plan ad-hoc vehicle requirements based on load profile and coordinate with fleet management
  • Maintain service levels and ensure performance metrics
  • Facilitate communication and coordination with commercial, security, fleet, and last mile teams
  • Drive metrics in inbound operations, outbound operations, floor operations, quality metrics, and first mile metrics
  • Develop and implement human resources/employee related key result areas, including diversity hiring, employee morale, and employee safety
  • Mentor and develop team members through capability building
  • Continuously explore process improvement opportunities and drive them to closure
  • Implement industry best practices of shop floor management, including Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies

Requirements:

  • Females preferred for this role
  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution (preferable)
  • 1-3 years post-graduation experience
