About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our business development efforts in India.

Job Description

This role involves driving market expansion initiatives and managing complex projects aligned with our mission to advance climate and energy solutions. You will work closely with our leadership team to oversee a diverse portfolio of projects, encompassing business development, origination, new market initiatives, and project management.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in climate, energy transition, finance, and business development.
  • Exceptional communication skills and strong connections within the Indian power and/or finance community.
  • A deep understanding of India's electricity, capital, and financial markets.
  • Proven track record in deal closure, particularly in debt and/or equity financing in India, including project finance, private debt, loan syndication, and structured finance.
  • Prior experience in country team management or a supervisory role is preferred.
