Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the performance of our IT infrastructure, including CPU, memory, hard disk size, log size, and other vital server parameters.
  • You will be required to report any performance issues on the servers to the appropriate teams if they exceed thresholds. Additionally, you will monitor scheduled tasks on the system to ensure their successful completion.
  • If there are any failures in the tasks, you will rerun them as needed. You will also be responsible for reporting technical errors to the L2/L3 teams for resolution.
  • Furthermore, you will monitor email, Teams channels, and ticketing systems for new items/tickets. You will update these items/tickets with initial responses and gather additional details from business/end-user teams as required.
  • You will reproduce issues in testing environments and provide inputs to L2 team members. Finally, you will validate issue fixes in internal testing environments based on customer inputs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate should have at least 3+ years of customer-facing experience.
  • They should have managed either application or infrastructure support at the L1 level for at least 3 years.
  • SailPoint or IAM system support experience is a significant advantage.
  • The candidate should have experience in both oral and written responses to customers within defined SLAs.
  • They must be experienced in handling customer-related queries on system functionality and providing required support.
  • The ideal candidate should have experience in doing customer issue-based validation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • A technical background in Java and scripting would be an added advantage.
