Job Overview

As a skilled professional with expertise in statutory compliances, transfer pricing, and tax audits, you will be responsible for handling a range of complex tasks. Your sound knowledge of income tax laws, transfer pricing regulations, and international taxation is essential to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review tax documentation, including audits, transfer pricing reports, and income tax returns, ensuring adherence to applicable provisions.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare appeals, submissions, and documentation for cases before tax authorities, utilizing your analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Assist seniors in representing cases before tax authorities, providing valuable support in high-pressure situations.
  • Offer consultancy on TDS applicability and withholding tax implications for domestic and international transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Advise on employee tax structures and incentives to optimize tax-efficient compensation planning, taking into account local and international tax implications.
  • Coordinate with overseas consultants to finalize tax returns as per local laws and analyze cross-border tax implications, showcasing your ability to work collaboratively across borders.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations while delivering value-added tax advisory services, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

Requirements and Skills

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in taxation, compliance, and audit, with a strong track record of achievement.
  • Proficient in income tax law, computation, tax audits, and transfer pricing, with a deep understanding of tax regulations and their applications.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and familiarity with SAP, allowing you to effectively utilize technology to drive results.
  • Strong communication, drafting, and research abilities, enabling you to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or CA dropout with relevant experience, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
