Experience and Education:

  • CA or Law Graduate from a known Law School with a strong academic track record.
  • 4-7 years of post-qualification experience in Indirect tax in the field of Indirect Tax Litigation or Advisory.

Job Description Summary:

Hiring for a key associate position in Indirect Tax Litigation. The incumbent will handle engagements related to Indirect Tax Laws, Appeals, Representation before various forums, investigation handholding, Litigation Management Service, Tax Restructuring, Tax Advisory, and consulting pertaining to GST, Customs, Service Tax, VAT, and Excise.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Creates and manages strong independent relationships with clients at senior positions with minimal partner involvement.
  • Expands client base with new wins and conversions (both existing and new clients) for the business unit.
  • Has strong internal and external networks. These are leveraged for building and growing the firm's business.

  • Proactively takes a leadership role where appropriate.
  • Creates a climate of high performance in the team.
  • Works effectively in cross-service line engagements.
  • Is a role model, mentor, and coach.
