Geospatial Survey Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Survey Expert to join our team in a challenging and rewarding role.

About the Role:

  • This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of an integrated geoscience team, leading the acquisition and development of high-quality ground models for wind farm engineering projects.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring safe, technical and commercial management of geophysical, geotechnical and construction surveys from tendering through to execution.
  • Your expertise will also be applied to ensure accuracy and adequacy of deliverables, while working closely with other disciplines such as T&I, Construction, Operations & Maintenance.
  • You will lead project execution for individual survey work scopes, encompassing HSE, resourcing, permitting, budget, and data management.
  • You will be the Survey Subject Matter Expert to related disciplines, collaborating with teams to deliver site investigations and project consent and infrastructure.
  • You will maintain relationships with third-party suppliers, contractors, and partners, as part of leading long-term performance management and pursuing continuous improvement.
  • You will actively contribute to technology development and share knowledge with the wider survey, geotechnical and geophysical communities of practice.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Survey & mapping, or Geoscience
  • Excellent proficiency in English (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills both oral and written
  • Ability to manage time effectively, working with distributed teams and time-zones
  • Proven expertise of working in multi-disciplinary teams and major projects with minimal technical supervision
  • Strong, proven Stakeholder management, and collaboration
