UI/UX Designer for Geospatial Innovations

A key role awaits a skilled UI/UX Designer to spearhead the design strategy and user experience of our cutting-edge geospatial platform.

This visionary will create intuitive, accessible, and delightful interfaces that drive adoption, retention, and empowerment for farmers.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain design systems, UI patterns, and style guides to ensure visual and functional consistency.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure pixel-perfect handoffs and smooth implementation.
  • Conduct end-to-end user research: interviews, field visits, surveys, and usability testing with farmers, FPOs, and partners.
  • Translate feedback into actionable design improvements, balancing usability, accessibility, and technical feasibility.
  • Champion UX for rural contexts, ensuring vernacular flows, low-bandwidth/offline-first design, accessibility, and culturally relevant trust cues.
Requirements
  • 5–8 years in UI/UX design, with at least 3 years designing for mobile-first products at scale.
  • Proven experience shipping rural customer-facing or mass-market apps with measurable adoption and engagement impact.
  • Hands-on experience conducting field research and usability testing with diverse user groups.
