ROLE: Senior Chemist (Analytics / R&D)

Our Organisation is an innovative technology platform offering sustainable end-of-life solutions. We have deployed modular, carbon emissions-free recycling facilities for lithium and lead batteries used in various industries including electronics, automotive and energy storage.

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Chemist to join our Research & Development team. You will be responsible for executing assigned tasks by completing research and development correctly the first time.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute research and development projects according to company strategy and laboratory processes.
  • Support the team leader in process development in laboratory, pilot facility, and third-party labs to identify the most efficient process technology.
  • Work closely with operations and process engineering teams to monitor process consistency and adjust parameters where needed.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in chemical lab research and development, preferably in hydrometallurgy, battery recycling, mining or carbon materials industries.
  • Technical expertise related to inorganic chemistry. Strong research and documentation skills.
