As a Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in developing and refining our core product metrics: match quality, time-to-hire, candidate experience, and revenue. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and track key metrics for ranking, interview analytics, and payouts systems.
  • Design and execute A/B tests and quasi-experiments to drive product decisions.
  • Develop data models and dashboards to empower teams with self-service insights.
  • Instrument events with engineers to enhance data quality and latency.
  • Prototype predictive models to improve matching and scoring.
  • Evaluate LLM-powered agents through rubrics, human-in-the-loop studies, and guardrail canaries.

Succeeding in this role requires strong fundamentals (statistics, SQL, Python) and a proven ability to iterate quickly. You must communicate complex ideas clearly and demonstrate a passion for predictive modeling, particularly in areas like LLM evaluation and retrieval.

Requirements
  • 0-2 years of experience in data science/analytics or a related field; BS/BA in a quantitative discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for analysis; comfort with experiment design and causal thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with engineers, PMs, and leadership; ability to translate analysis into actionable recommendations.
  • Nice-to-have skills: dbt, dashboarding (Hex/Mode/Looker), marketplace or search/recommendation metrics, LLM/agent evaluation.
