Service Desk Professional

As a Service Desk Professional, you will be the primary point of contact for IT-related queries and issues raised by users. Your role will involve logging, tracking, and managing incidents and service requests in the ticketing system.

You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, networks, and applications. If an issue cannot be resolved at your level, you will escalate it to higher-level support teams as per SLA guidelines.

One of your key responsibilities will be to provide remote and on-site assistance to ensure minimal downtime for users. You will also be required to maintain updated knowledge of IT policies, systems, and troubleshooting procedures.

In order to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction, you will need to provide prompt and effective support. To achieve this, you will work closely with other teams and stakeholders to identify and implement solutions to improve the overall customer experience.

Key aspects of this role include:

  • 1-6 years of experience in IT service desk or technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, MS Office, basic networking, and commonly used applications.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with a proactive and professional approach.
