Role Overview

This is a part-time hybrid opportunity for a Fashion Design Consultant based in Bangalore with work-from-home flexibility.

  • About the Role:
  • Develop and create innovative designs for various garments, utilizing technical skills and creativity.
  • Collaborate with other designers, pattern makers, and production teams to bring concepts to life.
  • Conduct trend research and create mood boards to guide the design process.
Key Responsibilities
  • Create clothing concepts, produce technical sketches, select fabrics and materials
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Lead trend research initiatives and develop mood boards
Requirements
  • Fashion Design, Technical Sketching, and Garment Illustration skills
  • Proficiency in Fabric Selection, Textile Knowledge, and Material Sourcing
  • Trend Research and Mood Board Creation skills
  • Expertise in Design Software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) and CAD applications
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
  • Prior experience in the fashion or garment industry is highly desirable
