Overview of the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planning Team Lead to oversee routine maintenance planning and scheduling activities for Chevron's Refining and LNG assets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the planning and scheduling of non-turnaround routine maintenance work, providing SME support on planning, estimating, and scheduling for project work, and ensuring the development of high-quality work packages in compliance with Chevron standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate routine maintenance planning and scheduling activities across various crafts.
  • Provide technical expertise on planning, estimating, and scheduling for Chevron-executed project work.
  • Ensure the development of work packages that meet Chevron's quality standards.
  • Drive accountability for the use of standard planning and estimating tools and practices.
  • Develop and deliver execution work plans and updates on scope status and forecast.
  • Collaborate with site representatives to determine work scope for maintenance teams.
  • Work closely with Operations to integrate schedules into the operating plan.
  • Partner with Asset Maintenance Team Leads to feed planned work into the asset integrated plan.
  • Develop tools to improve cost and execution forecasting accuracy and report on status at individual project and portfolio level.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in relevant Engineering or Maintenance Discipline.
  • Previous Oil and Gas experience in a Maintenance Planning Leadership Position.
  • Strong technical background in planning and scheduling tools – JDE, SAP, Prometheus, Primavera P6.
  • Understanding of planning processes including constructability, advanced work packaging, work planning, project scoping, contract planning, progress measurement, and materials management.
  • Knowledgeable in core maintenance and technical project planning and scheduling industry best practices.
