We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead our payroll function and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the overall strategy and direction of the payroll group, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
- Oversee the planning, assigning, and directing of work for staff members, appraising their performance and guiding professional development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, including planning, delegating tasks, and addressing employee relations issues. They will also participate in the selection and on-boarding process for new staff.
Achieving defined performance levels as agreed in Service Level Agreements (SLAs) is crucial for this role. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to manage day-to-day relationships with suppliers.
Additionally, they will maintain all statutory reporting relating to payroll, seek customer-driven enhancements to services, and provide support to internal customers on Legislation/Policy changes.
This role requires a high degree of organizational skill, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
