Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced legal professional to lead our legal affairs team. As a Legal Director, you will be responsible for managing the company's legal risks, advising on business transactions, and driving compliance with regulatory requirements.

Your primary objective will be to develop and implement effective legal strategies that align with the company's business objectives. You will work closely with senior management to ensure that all legal aspects of the business are properly managed.

To achieve this, you will:

  • Develop and implement legal policies and procedures that ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Provide legal advice to senior management on key business decisions and transactions
  • Manage and coordinate the company's litigation and arbitration matters
  • Build and maintain relationships with external lawyers, advisors, and other stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations and advise the company accordingly

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in law or a related field
  • At least 12 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a large corporation
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
