Software Development - Vehicle Control Systems

As a software developer in the Vehicle Control Systems team, you will be responsible for driving new software technology concepts related to electrical engineering architectures and products.

Main Responsibilities

  • Development of high-performance computing software solutions for middleware integration in automotive applications.
  • Design and implementation of new software architectures based on AUTOSAR Adaptive.
  • Estimation of technology trends in electronic controls portfolio across products.
  • Contribution to proof-of-concept projects in close alignment with innovation and engineering teams.
  • Elaboration of technical feasibility and presentation to expert communities and customers.
  • Reporting to the Head of System Design and Architecture Vehicle Controls in the Innovation department of electrification solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

  • University degree in a relevant field (computer science, electronics, telecommunication, or informatics). A master's degree is desired.
  • Strong knowledge of C++ features and best practices.
  • Broad experience with AUTOSAR Adaptive and communication protocols such as SOME/IP and DDS.
  • Experience with POSIX-based operating systems (e.g., Linux), memory management, multithreading, and performance optimization.
  • Initial knowledge of SOA principles and their application in automotive systems.
  • Awareness of safety-critical systems and safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
