Job Summary
  • Providing technical support for the long-term success of steam turbine service contracts.
  • Offering engineering expertise in preparing technical documentation for global steam turbine outages, including analyzing fleet experience and providing recommendations.
  • Reviewing unit-specific Product Change Management data, recording action points, and incorporating them into future outage plans.
  • Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts globally to compile OEM fleet experiences and recommendations for inclusion in unit-specific outage plans.
  • Supporting field service teams with technical clarifications and relevant documentation during scheduled steam turbine maintenance, including periodic inspections and forced outages.
  • Maintaining unit data management and performing data upgrades/revision in engineering databases.

We seek highly skilled professionals who can drive results:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in an engineering or related technical field from a reputable institution.
  • 8-12 years of experience in engineering support for steam turbine outages and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with power plants and a general understanding of steam turbines, valves, bearings, and associated components like condensers, seal steam systems, lube oil systems, drain systems, and other auxiliaries.
  • A solid understanding and experience in steam turbine operations, scheduled steam turbine maintenance, including periodic inspections like minor, medium, and major outages is highly valued.
  • Experience with SAP, Teamcenter, or other data management systems.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and listening), strong teamwork, and customer focus abilities.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal guidance is essential.
  • Direct interface with customers, field, factory personnel, and management.
  • Making quick, informed decisions on a regular basis.
  • Managing multiple field issues/projects and meeting deadlines.
