This role is part of the Global Networks – Enterprise Network team, focused on creating and improving network services and solutions that ensure the best experience for Marriott associates and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, engineer, implement, and optimize LAN/WAN/WiFi networks for the Corporate Network product, adhering to all applicable standards.
- Manage network service and circuit capacity.
- Plan and deliver projects, including hardware and software specification, vendor coordination, and full operational turnover.
- Review change plans and runbooks.
- Govern third-party service providers.
- Provide Level 3 escalation support for operational issues and outages.
- 4+ years of progressive experience in enterprise networking, with a focus on wireless, SD-WAN, and LAN infrastructure.
- Expertise in enterprise wireless protocols, RF site surveys, and security best practices.
- Strong understanding and implementation experience with Fabric-based LAN architectures.
- Proficient in Layer 2/3 networking concepts, including VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, and multicast.
- Experience creating or leveraging automation, AI, and machine learning to deploy and manage networks.
- Development and deployment of virtualized network services.
- Understanding of cloud networking solutions and cloud interconnects.
