Senior Manager Governance Risk and Compliance Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the implementation of our Governance Risk and Compliance program. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing risk and controls designing registers/templates and workflows in the GRC tool and providing a unified view of risk at the entity level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead risk assessments and profiling for business units and operational activities ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and adapt risk management practices accordingly.
  • Ensure policies/processes are designed to comply with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies facilitating effective decision-making.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand processes and facilitate documentation of controls promoting transparency.
  • Provide oversight and challenge business units on risk management practices driving continuous improvement.
  • Carry out risk aggregation exercise to provide unified view of risk enhancing strategic decision-making.
  • Promote the use of advanced technologies and data analytics in risk management.
  • Act as a key point of contact for risk-related matters pertaining to business and operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as business finance or accounting.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management governance or compliance.
  • Proven track record of leading risk assessments and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
