Key Role Summary

  • The ideal candidate will oversee operational activities within the Enterprise Risk Management function, ensuring seamless execution and optimal risk mitigation.

Role Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a robust Enterprise Risk Management framework across the organization, incorporating industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive internal control system, identifying control weaknesses and deficiencies, and recommending improvements to mitigate risks.
  • Conduct regular business process reviews to identify control gaps and develop recommendations for risk improvement and mitigation.
  • Update the Enterprise Risk Policy to reflect changing regulatory and strategic scenarios, ensuring it remains aligned with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with Principal Risk Owners to identify key risks and mitigating controls in their business units, developing action plans to address any gaps in the identified measures.
  • Prepare reports for the Risk Committee, Executive Management Team, and Board Committees, providing focused attention on critical risks through an integrated risk reporting framework.

Educational Qualifications

  • A graduate degree in finance, management, or risk management from a reputable institution is required. Preference will be given to certifications such as FRM, CFA, CBCP, and similar qualifications.

Experience Required

  • A minimum of 4-8 years of experience in a similar role is essential.

Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge and understanding of Exchange ecosystem and operations are mandatory.

Functional Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of risk management principles, including risk identification, assessment, and management frameworks.
  • Demonstrate expertise in control frameworks, designing and evaluating the effectiveness of controls embedded within business processes.
  • Knowledge of risk and governance standards, such as the COSO framework and Basel Corporate Governance Principles, is highly desirable.
