Job Title: Compliance Officer

About the Role

This is a key managerial position responsible for ensuring our organization operates in full compliance with relevant regulations and laws. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, overseeing the implementation of regulatory frameworks, monitoring adherence to requirements, and ensuring robust governance and risk management practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all provisions of relevant regulations, including timely submission of annual audit reports.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls to align with regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct regular compliance reviews and audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a key point of contact for regulatory bodies, facilitating inspections, inquiries, and submission of required reports and disclosures.
  • Monitor and report on regulatory changes, ensuring timely adaptation of our processes.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A professional qualification or post-graduate degree in finance, law, accountancy, business management, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in compliance-related fields, specifically in supervisory and managerial positions within the securities market or financial products.
  • A comprehensive understanding of relevant regulations, including the IFSCA (Fund Management) Regulations and the IFSCA (Capital Market Intermediaries) Regulations.
  • Proven expertise in developing and implementing compliance and risk management frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
